Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring?

Students should bring water bottles and proper foot wear for classes they are attending. Dance bags are highly recommended to help keep everything together. It’s also a good idea to pack back up clothes in case they are needed. For new students trying dance for their first time, just bring clean socks to dance in.

Can I observe my dancers class?

We ask parents /others to not observe classes because it can be very distracting to the students. For certain situation we do make exceptions.

Do I need previous experience?

No experience needed. We have classes for all levels and welcome all ages.

Policies

Monthly class payments are due by the 10th of each month. A $15 late fee will be charged after the 10th and any accounts unpaid after 30 days will be dropped from the program. If you need to make payment arrangements please contact our Director, Brittney Deptuch. Payments will not be refunded unless we have been notified of the student stopping participation before the payment is pulled. This does not apply to Subscriptions made online. Any Subscriptions made online must be canceled by the account holder not by West Valley Dance Studio staff. If a payment is eligible for a refund the refund will be in studio credit.

Classes require 3 students present to be held. If a class does not have 3 students present by 10 minutes after class time, the class will be canceled. If you will be late please get in contact with the studio so class is not canceled. Students who are present on days that classes get canceled will be offered a different class time to attend in place of the canceled class.

All children and adults must conduct themselves appropriately at the studio. We will not tolerate any bullying, disrespectful actions towards staff members, damages to the space, or use of substance while present in the studio or at a studio function.

Dress codes are different in each class. Students must be in dress code 3 weeks after joining. All classes require hair fully pulled out of face and no large dangly/distracting jewelry. 

​

If any policies are broken a warning will be served. Any policies broken after a warning has been given may result in removal from the program.
